Division 03

Handmade Fiber Arts

Woven wall hangings and textile pieces, made one at a time. No two are the same, largely because we couldn’t repeat one if we tried. This is the division where the “randomness” stops being a joke about the name.

Have One Made For Your Wall

  1. Send The Room

A photo of the wall, rough dimensions, and anything you know about what you want. “It needs to not clash with the couch” is a legitimate design brief.

  2. Pick A Palette

We put together a small yarn sample and photograph it, so you see actual colors and textures rather than a screen approximation.

  3. We Quote It

Price depends on size, materials, and how much hand-work the design needs. You get a firm number and a timeline before anything goes on the loom.

  4. It Gets Woven

Progress photos along the way if you want them. Delivered ready to hang, with the dowel and hardware sorted.

Living with it

Care

  • Keep it out of direct sun. Natural dyes and reclaimed wool will fade in a south-facing window over a few years.
  • Dust it, don’t wash it. A vacuum on low with the upholstery brush, or a shake outside. Water and wool are not friends here.
  • Hang from the dowel. Two anchors, level. Woven pieces are heavier than they look.
  • Moths are the real enemy. If it’s going into storage, seal it with a cedar block.
